This was such a fun night! Katy was almost doing a one woman show between the songs and this song was captured by Sofar in it's full length. Love playing this song life, it was written in such an impulse and everytime we play it, it feels new.

We wanted to make a cover of Chandelier with one rule: only strings and vocals. It ended up being used for a short film premiere at Copenhagen Cinema School, where the director Anna Emma performed a beautiful dance to it. Since then, it’s just been sitting in the vault. So now — this one’s for you.

This song has the answer to an unlucky saturday feeling, where the ceiling of your newly renovated kitchen falls down and you loose your voice writing people little notes.
Do you wake up with a memory, feeling like it was just yesterday? That’s how we feel about Teenage Love. We know it’s been a while. It would be a lie to say we aren’t ashamed about that. It would be a lie to say we don’t miss it to our bones. Miss playing for you, miss making new music in a room together. Ashamed of that fan’s wedding we never got to play in Denmark, because Katy was stuck a continent away with family obligations. Ashamed that we couldn’t release new music every second month for the last 9 years, which could have, would have, maybe made us go viral.

We have something unreleased for you Teenage Sleevers! It’s a cover of Sia’s great song Chandelier and we made ourselves a challenge, not to use beats and synthezisers, so really it’s only voices and violins. Hope you like it!
Sometimes stuff happens, and we know it happens for you too, where you think “What, how did that happen? How is it even possible?” and just when you watch your world sink down, you can’t stop laughing and this new thought sparks in your mind “This will be memorable one day, once it’s over - please let that be true” That’s what happen to Anna the other day, when she found her home studio, her white sheep fur chair and two kids overdozed with coco powder! It was damn hard to not laugh and really show the kids, that’s not something to do, it was litterally hours of cleaning - but it was also a great memory, and a great photo not the least.
